Tracy Miller paints what she sees in her dreams which are informed by her interest in nature, folklore, mystery, vast wide open spaces and her years of creating art in the west.

Her earliest memories are her love of animals and the desire to capture them in her art. Art school informed her sense of design, now she seeks to integrate the two into paintings exploding with life and wonder.

Coyote Wishes To Fly With The Ravens

Using Native American lore as a stepping off point, this painting depicts a coyote looking up to the sky as ravens fly above. He wishes to be free and cover the Earth like them. Grounded in the prairie grass he howls at them. They in turn, almost seem to mock him. The strong colors and patterns in the background guide the viewers eye in the pathways of both the sky and the land.
