The Golden ArcWay (2024)
Metal print
This triptych was designed to illustrate the key views of the Arc of Dreams in downtown Sioux Falls. The Arc is beautifully lit in a golden glow late in the evening. Seeing the three views from both sides of the river, and then directly down the Big Sioux shows what a remarkable art achievement we have in our city. I printed these images on metal since the Arc is fully stainless steel.

For those new to our city the Arc of Dreams was created by Dale Lamphere, the Artist Laureate of South Dakota and was installed in the summer of 2019. The Arc is designed to pay tribute to those people who have done great things in our city and to encourage others to do the same. The 15-foot gap in the middle of the Arc represents that risk one takes to accomplish an idea or dream. It took six years and three million dollars from over 700 businesses and individuals, and Dale’s talents to create this masterpiece. It’s now in the permanent collection of the Sioux Falls Sculpture Walk.
